Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker will likely sign the contract shortly and join some of the top players in North America, like Erick "Xeppaa" Bach and Nathan "leaf" Orf. Anthony "vanity" Malaspina, the team's in-game captain, will also serve as its leader.
Cloud 9 Valorant Roster For VCT 2023
Earlier, Cloud 9 benched two players, Mitch and Curry, freeing up two spots on the roster for other players. Three players are currently on the Cloud 9 roster: Anthony "vanity" Malaspina, Erick "Xeppaa," and Nathan "leaf" Orf, an IGL.
Yay established himself as the finest player in the world thanks to his regular top-of-the-chart results while playing with OpTic Gaming. The 2022 season wasn't particularly successful for Cloud 9, as their sole notable accomplishment was placing second in the VCT 2022: North America Stage 1 Challengers. But the group performed well in the 2021 campaign and even made the Champions 2021, where they placed fifth through eighth.

The list of 30 partnered teams that will compete in the VCT 2023 Season was just released by Valorant. Unexpectedly, Optic Gaming, one of the world's top teams, could not claim the position. This sparked several inquiries, among them the whereabouts of the Optic players when the VCT 2023 is held in 2023.
Although not everything has been verified yet, rumors indicate Yay will join Cloud 9 to participate in the VCT 2023. Yay with, Optic Gaming took first place and second place several times in the VCT 2022: Stage 1 Masters - Reykjavk. He also had some impressive stats in Valorant Champions 2022, where he placed second with the most ACS and was one of the top competitors.
