In the official tweet's artwork, four blades are buried in the earth under a cherry blossom tree. The sun is visible in the backdrop. The well-known Japanese masks are also seen next to the four blades. "A hilltop beneath a sakura tree has a collection of four sheathed swords set around a Japanese style mask, illuminated by the sun," said the Alt description for the picture on Twitter. The mask's eyes emit tendrils of green smoke encircling one of the swords. The picture is painted traditionally with strong, noticeable brushstrokes.

The Japanese masks, commonly known as Oni, feature red-cheeked Japanese devils. The Oni demons are said to fend off bad spirits and safeguard their owners. Just after the teaser, ValorLeaks tweeted. "Next Bundle is Oni 2.0 VALORANT," they wrote. A vandal and a katana will be used in the melee. They also said the melee weapon would feature the same varieties as the other weapons in the bundle, including the original four from the last Oni bundle.

Interestingly, the game's first Oni bundle was made available in July 2020, only two months after it was made available to the general public. One bundle enthusiast had to wait while other well-known skin lines, like the Reaver, Prime, Glitchpop, and Ion, among many others, got a new collection. The first Oni package included Phantom, Guardian, Bucky, and Shorty skins. Players will probably get Oni 2.0 skins for the Vandal, as well as maybe the Operator and the Classic, as Riot Games aims to extend this collection. According to sources, the melee weapon will allegedly be a katana, a traditional Japanese sword with a curved, single-edged blade, a circular or squared guard, and a long handle.

ValorLeaks also confirmed that the design philosophy of this Oni 2.0 melee would be completely original. "The Katana is not the same as the RGX Blade," they said. That is entirely new. Riot Games has not yet provided any further details. Because Riot has not yet formally confirmed if the teaser is for the Oni 2.0 bundle, gamers may anticipate learning the package's pricing and the release date once Riot does so. However, the Oni 2.0 bundle ought to cost around 7,100 VP based on other packages of a similar kind.
