Valorant India Invitational to begin on November 18

The highly anticipated main event of the Valorant India Invitational by Galaxy Racer is set to occur between the 18th and 20th of November.

Overview:

  • This will be the first-ever international Valorant tournament in South Asia, and the total prize money on offer will be USD 100,000.
  • The LAN Finals will be contested over three days, while the Grand Finals will be held at the GMR Arena in Hyderabad.

According to Galaxy Racer India, BOOM Esports has been asked to participate in the VALORANT India Invitational. The Indonesian team is the eighth officially confirmed team for the $100,000 competition; one more team will be invited.

The US$100,000 prize fund for the VALORANT India Invitational by Galaxy Racer will be awarded between November 18 and 20. Seven other teams will join Gary "blaZek1ng" Dastin and company at the GMR Arena, including fellow Indonesian citizens RRQ, Enigma Gaming, Global Esports (GodSquad), and Bleed Esports, who qualified via the SEA, India #1, and India #2 qualifications, respectively.

Following their appearance at the 2022 VALORANT Champions through the Last Chance Qualifier, BOOM will make their second international appearance; only Rizkie "BerserX" Kusuma, Fikri "famouz" Zaki, and blaZek1ng remain from that roster. After the VCT 2022 circuit was over, Saibani "fl1pzjder" Rahmad and David "Tehbotol" Monangin, two longtime members of BOOM Esports, were replaced by the former ONIC G team of Michael "SEVERiNE" Winata and Hildegard "Shiro" Arnaldo. Famouz has also been added as a permanent member of the group.

The announcement of the final squad for the Indian competition is anticipated in the next few days. The group's CEO, Jorge "Goorgo" Orejudo, provided information regarding the EMEA team's attendance at the VALORANT India Invitational. He also affirmed that their new lineup, which is led by Javier "mixwell" Colocho, would be in action.

There are now two ticket choices on the BookMyShow website: Day Pass and Weekend Pass. The Weekend Pass (IN 1,300) allows admission to the venue for all three days of the event from November 18 to 20, while the Day Pass (IN 500) only allows entry for one day of your choosing (Nov 18/19/20).
