Xbox adds new titles for June 2022

Newsroom Jun 21, 2022

Post the hyped release of Assassin's Creed Origins and Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection, Microsoft’s Xbox game pass is set to launch highly exciting and much-awaited games in June 2022.
These games include the release of TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge and the latest updated version of FIFA 22.
While the addition of games is fantastic, one drawback is that some titles must be removed from the site from time to time to make a place for new releases.

Xbox game pass is a paid subscription-based model that needs a monthly recharge for gamers to avail of high-end games with the facility to play them online. It offers a diversified list of games, each getting renewed every month as per the updates and launch of new games. Players worldwide can play several games, ranging from one-player AAA games to multiplayer titles which allow online streaming options.

New releases in Xbox game pass from mid-June

The Xbox Game Pass is without a doubt the best gaming offer available. Every month, new titles are added to the service for users to try on PC, Console, and Cloud. Game Pass guarantees that its collection of games remains broad, from AAA blockbusters to the Day 1 release of Indie titles through [email protected]

Every month, on the 1st and 15th, Xbox publishes a wire post with information on new titles coming to the service that month. While Xbox did offer the news wire at the beginning of the month, disclosing what's coming in the first half of June 2022 — which includes titles like Assassin's Creed Origins, Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection and Choros - the second half of the month was omitted.

However, this does not rule out the possibility of new titles being added to the service; in fact, contrary to popular belief, the second half of June will see a slew of interesting titles.

The Day 1 release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is without a doubt the greatest addition to the service in the second half of the month. The much-anticipated side-scroller beat'em up just arrived on the service a few days ago, and it's already proving to be a huge hit. Total War: Three Kingdoms, as well as Shadowrun Trilogy, will be included in PC Game Pass this month (Returns, Dragonfall, and Hong Kong).

Another significant addition is FIFA 22, which is available as part of EA Play and is included in PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate.

With that being said, the titles for the second half of June are as follows:

  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge (Cloud, Console, and PC) – June 16
  • Omari (Cloud, Console, and PC) – June 17
  • Total War: Three Kingdoms (PC) – June 21
  • Shadowrun Returns (Cloud, Console) - June 21
  • Shadowrun Dragonfall - Director’s Cut (Cloud, Console) - June 21
  • Shadowrun Hong Kong - Extended Edition (Cloud, Console) - June 21
  • Naraka Bladepoint (Cloud, Console, and PC) – June 21
  • FIFA 22 (Cloud, Console, and PC) EA Play – June 21

While the addition of games is fantastic, one drawback is that some titles must be removed from the site from time to time to make a place for new releases. While FIFA 20 will be removed from the service, soccer enthusiasts will still be able to play FIFA 22 and FIFA 21 from last year.

Jurassic World Evolution is in a similar predicament. The new Jurassic World Evolution 2 will take the place of the previous instalment. With that stated, let's take a look at all of the games that will be removed from Game Pass in June 2022.
