- Upthrust Esports is set to kick off the 2023 season with the second season of BGMI Pro Scrims The Ultimate Arena.
- A total of 32 teams have been directly invited, facing each other in a single-elimination format.
- The tournament is scheduled online from the 10th to the 16th of January.
An additional BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) practice event will be held in 2023 by Upthrust Esports, one of India's major mobile Esports tournament organizers. This occurred shortly after Global Esports and TSM, respectively, won BGMI Pro Scrims 1.0 and BGMI Pro Scrims 1.0 - The Ultimate Showdown.

Building on the popularity of previous events, Upthrust Esports BGMI Pro Scrims 2.0 - The Ultimate Arena, which will take place from January 10 to 16 and feature 32 directly invited teams, has been announced.

In addition to the usual BGMI Pro Scrims 2.0, which uses the standard battle royale game format, Upthrust Esports will also host the novel 1v1 concept, in which teams compete directly against one another.

The single-elimination competition will run from January 10 to January 16; the schedule for each day will be made public a few hours before the scheduled start time.

Format
Instead of the traditional battle royale gameplay, The Ultimate Arena will use a novel single-elimination structure. 32 teams have been invited, competing against one another in a best-of-three series.
Every round will include numerous games, and the round will be won by the side that wins four games in a row first. Multiple matches will be played over the course of the seven days as the 32 teams are reduced to only one, which will emerge as the winner and claim the title.
Livestream
Every day beginning at 18:30 (IST), the competition will be streamed live on YouTube and Loco on Upthrust Esports' official channels, solely in Hindi.
