Pokemon unveils new official Pokeball replicas for 2023
On January 11, 2023, The Wand Company released this Love Ball replica as the first of three further replica Pokeballs. Pokemon enthusiasts are aware that Kurt's distinctive Apricorn Pokeballs, which had a greater capture rate when used on Pokemon of the opposite gender from the one sent out by the trainer, were the precursors of the Love Ball in Pokemon Gold & Silver. The Love Ball replica itself, according to the website of The Pokemon Company, has a "die-cast metal shell and high-gloss lacquer finish" with the iconic pink-colored heart design from Generation 2 brought to life.

A black display case, a holographic plate with the Pokeball's exclusive identification number, and "proximity-sensing technology, allowing the front button to glow upon contact or motion detection" are also included with the replica. The replica, along with other authorized reproductions like the normal Poke Ball, Quick Ball, and Master Ball, is available for $99.99 from the Pokemon Center online shop. The Wand Company has confirmed that the Dive Ball, Net Ball, and Luxury Ball will also be released in 2023, so fans interested in collecting every Pokeball replica may anticipate more in the future.
