The Esports Club, founded in 2019 by Vamsi Krishna, Ishaan Arya, and Mansoor Ahmed Noor, offers specialized game marketing services. It has created IPs like The Arena in collaboration with Comic Con, a consumer gaming convention. TEC Challenger Series and TEC Gauntlet are two long-running Esports competitions created by the Esports company.
The Esports Club Secures Funding To Build Sustainable Ecosystem
"We are happy to have obtained this finance and to be extending our operations to other locations," The Esports Club's founder, Vamsi Krishna, was quoted as saying. "Esports is a fast-expanding sector, and we are thrilled to be at the forefront of it. We are dedicated to establishing a robust and sustainable Esports environment, and this money will enable us to do so. "We are thrilled to offer our competitive tournaments, events, and content to new audiences, as well as to assist in developing the next generation of Esports talent," he said.

The business also intends to launch new projects in other locations and engage local broadcasting talent to strengthen its online presence. It also intends to invest in broadcast infrastructure and technology to support new market tournaments. Many Esports firms have recently attracted the attention of investors. In November, for example, Esports firm Gamerji received $3 million in Pre-Series A investment from GVFL and current backer Unicorn India Ventures. The Ahmedabad-based business also runs Esports contests for games such as BGMI and Free Fire Max.
Recently, the government has linked Esports with traditional sports in the nation, officially recognizing the sector. The federal government has designated the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS) as the nodal ministry for Esports in multi-sport events. According to an EY analysis, the Indian Esports business will be worth INR 250 crore in 2021 and is expected to expand at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 46% over the next four years to reach INR 1,100 crore by 2025.
