On Monday (16 May), the individual tournament for PUBG Mobile kicked off the fourth day of the 2022 Hanoi Southeast Asian Games Esports event.
Individual and team competitions were held during the PUBG Mobile event. The individual competition will be held from May 16 to 17, with 51 participants from Vietnam, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, and the Philippines,
The competitors will participate in five matches every day to accumulate points toward their tournament placement.
Thailand's Phuwiwat "GodTunny" Tanee leads the competition after five matches with 66 points and 11 kills. Honda of Laos is second with 54 points and 11 kills, while fellow Laotian Porza is third with 53 points and 7 kills.

Thailand leads the Esports competition at the Hanoi Southeast Asian Games with three medals: one gold, one silver, and one bronze.
Indonesia and Vietnam are tied for second place with two medals each, one gold and one silver. Malaysia and Singapore are ranked third place, each with one bronze medal.
Meanwhile, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Laos have yet to win an Esports medal.

The Esports competition at the 2021 Hanoi Southeast Asian Games would occur from May 13 to 22 at Hanoi's National Convention Center.
Ten Esports competitions will be held at the event, including League of Legends, Men's and Women's League of Legends: Wild Rift, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Individual and team PUBG Mobile, Arena of Valor, Free Fire, Cross Fire, and FIFA Online 4.
