Team Secret set to debut its MLBB squad in MPL Malaysia
MPL Malaysia announced that Team Secret would compete in the upcoming MPL MY Season 11.

Soon, a representative of one of the largest Esports organizations in the world will arrive in the Land of Dawn. According to Moonton on Facebook, Team Secret has declared its participation in the forthcoming season of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Malaysia (MPL MY Season 11).

As Orange Esports completely left the league on February 16, the European-based company was able to get a spot in the league via a transfer procedure. Team Secret has not yet announced their squad for the 2017 season.

The 10 teams that will play this season have been revealed by Moonton, with Yoodo Red Giants and Madness Esports becoming the two new qualification teams. Team Secret, a 2014 creation, has succeeded in several Esports games, including Dota 2 and Valorant.

The mobile Esports scene is equally active for the European Esports organization, with involvement in well-known games like PUBG Mobile. They had also explored Wild Rift before dissolving their squad the previous year. Several people weren't surprised by this since the group had previously made cryptic tweets on their social media page after the M4 World Championship that seemed to be teasing the formation of an MLBB squad.
CEO John Yao asked his Facebook fans whether he should buy an MLBB franchise. In addition to announcing the clubs who will play in the 2018 season, Moonton also revealed where the offline regular season games would be played: Stadium Juara in Kuala Lumpur. Soon, information on how to buy event tickets will be made available.

The 2017 MPL Malaysia season is scheduled to begin on March 10 and will include several changes, including a reduction in the regular season length from eight weeks to six.
