Simplified Guide to Become a Better Gamer

Community Oct 26, 2021

Today’s professional gamers compete worldwide for significant prizes, and there’s a massive number of participants for the same. But the question is how to be a perfectionist?
Anyone who loves games has probably wondered how to become a pro gamer. Whether you’re looking to get into a solo or team competition, there is a blueprint to launching a gaming career.

Recognize your game

To start, we all need to identify and understand our strengths and weaknesses. It’s the same with gameplay, find out your strengths and weaknesses, polish your strengths and work on your weaknesses. Recognize where you are going wrong. Keep in mind this not going to work overnight, so we come to our next point.

Consistent Practice

When you identify your gameplay, you know where to work, but just knowing is not enough. You have to work hard. Be consistent with your practice, don’t lose hope when the game doesn’t go your way. Try Again!
Keep trying different strategies in your practice, find out what works for you and continue to follow it.

Be connected to the community.

To better understand a game, spend time lurking on forums and other places. Once you know more about a game, you will have a good grasp of your goals.
The community also plays a vital role in providing motivation and empowering gamers through the journey of growth.

Long Term Motivation

To move ahead in a path, we all need motivation. If that motivation is not long enough, we pause a lot or sometimes even quit the path. To keep going and growing, we need long term motivation, which drives the passion in us and makes us move forward. Find your long term motivation. It might take a while, but you will find it. We can find motivation anywhere in any way. It is us who have to look for it.
Make sure you look in the right place. Join your community, gain knowledge about it, and you might find your motivation.

Being Patient

Being patient is essential because every good thing takes time and hard work. Progress is continuous, but success takes time. To reach that success, you need to be consistent with your work and your practice; at the same time, you should know that it will take time, but you’ll get there.
Enjoy the process and learn. Be patient with yourself and with the process.

As we all know, “Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet”.

“Even for myself, I played League of Legends for almost two years before I really started improving. I’m sure if I didn’t have this patience, I would’ve given up earlier, or I would’ve allowed myself to not give 110%”.
