Let's get ready to rumbleee! League of Legends enthusiasts. Riot Games has finally unveiled the Rumble Stage schedule for the 2022 Mid-Season Invitational, and the first day is jam-packed with bangers.

On day one, six games will be contested, with the festivities opening with two of the tournament's most powerful teams: T1 and G2 Esports. Both the Korean powerhouses and the European monarchs cruised through the group phase with 6-0 records, demonstrating how far they have come over the 2022 Spring Split.

This battle will also see the end of one of the world's two longest win streaks, as T1 is still unbeaten this year and G2 has yet to lose a match since their remarkable run through the 2022 LEC Spring Playoffs the previous month. China's Royal Never Give Up was the third unbeaten team at MSI, and they will face the LCS' Evil Geniuses and G2 at 2:30 p.m. IST and 4:30 p.m., IST respectively.

The MSI 2022 opening day schedule is as follows:

  • 1:30 pm IST: T1 vs. G2 Esports
  • 2:30 p.m. IST: Evil Geniuses vs. Royal Never Give Up
  • 3:30 p.m. IST: PSG Talon vs. Saigon Buffalo
  • 4:30 p.m. IST: G2 Esports vs. Royal Never Give Up
  • 5:30 p.m. IST: Saigon Buffalo vs. Evil Geniuses
  • 6:30 p.m. IST: PSG Talon vs. T1

The Rumble Stage will take place from Friday, May 20 to Tuesday, May 24, and will feature six of the tournament's top teams playing each other twice throughout the four-day period. The top four squads will advance to the knockout phase, while the bottom two will be eliminated.

The level of excitement should skyrocket, especially when contrasted to the group phase matchups viewers experienced earlier this month. The majority of the games involved in groups were terribly one-sided, resulting in more teams being undefeated than in MSI's entire history, as well as widespread fan outrage.

Fortunately for the fans, all of the top teams will now collide as they compete for glory. MSI 2022 resumes on Friday at 3 a.m. CT, so be sure to tune in.
