Gravity Media partners with Riot Games
Over the last several years, the managed service option from Gravity Media has grown in popularity. In collaboration with Riot Games, Gravity Media will hire highly qualified, driven, and ambitious people who will perform various technical and operational tasks to produce world-class live events. These people will assist at the remote broadcast facility in Dublin that is part of Riot Games' most recent investment in live broadcast production, Project Stryker, Powered by AWS. The first of Project Stryker's three Regional Broadcast Centers (RBCs), located in Swords, is a 50,000 square foot production facility that will support local and international live Esports competitions for Riot Games' three Esports franchises: League of Legends Esports, VALORANT Esports, and Wild Rift Esports. It joins Riot's City Centre office, which has around 165 staff members with expertise in business operations, development, engineering, localization, and player support, as its second presence in Dublin.

To create, distribute, and support the games with the greatest player attention available, Riot Games was established in 2006. League of Legends, Riot's initial game, was well-praised when it was launched in 2009. League has become the most popular PC game worldwide and a major factor in Esports' exponential rise. Using broadcast feeds from live Esports events all around the globe, Riot RBCs can generate, broadcast, and distribute the material to Esports fans in several languages. This efficient new method is known as Project Stryker. The Dublin RBC can broadcast six live events simultaneously throughout the world thanks to its TOC, six remote casting insert stages, six production control rooms (PCRs), six audio control rooms (ACRs), several bullpens for observers (in-game camera operators), graphics, replay, and editing.
With a remarkable 200 Gbps worldwide bandwidth and over 32 km of cable, Project Stryker Dublin can provide live event feeds to the manufacturing plant in about 1/10th of a second. Two control rooms are equipped with cutting-edge technology and cloud-based zero-client computing thanks to Riot's relationship with Amazon Web Services (AWS), enabling Riot to create events even more effectively, virtually, and remotely than before. The potential presented by Project Stryker is excellent for luring the top talent to Dublin's Esports future. Gravity Media will ensure remote production talent and engineering specialists collaborate to establish and integrate the permanent studio facilities and production processes as part of the expanding facility as part of the agreement. Allyson Gormley, global operations director for Project Stryker at Riot Games, stated, "We are thrilled to join with Gravity Media and their wide network of talent to draw the finest and brightest minds in live broadcast production to Riot Games and Project Stryker. Gravity Media, which has some of the top experts in broadcasting, production, and technology, will undoubtedly be a tremendous tool in our ambitious live Esports productions, which consistently draw millions of spectators from across the globe.
The executive director of Eamonn Dowdall Gravity Media comments on the alliance: "We couldn't be more excited to start 2023 by revealing the wonderful news of our cooperation with Riot Games. Working directly with Riot Games at their European headquarters, this opportunity enables us to utilise and display our global Esports credentials and world-class broadcast talent, allowing us to support Riot Games internationally in the execution of the most immersive and engaging projects ever made. When we can help with concept development and content creation, Gravity Media manages the facilities and creates the material, assuring post-production and distribution. Thanks to Gravity Media, Riot Games will continue to be the world's most player-focused video game business, which will revolutionise Esports broadcast production globally.
