The Japanese team QueeN Walkers (QW) Stephanie was crowned the champion of the recently concluded Clash of Clans World Championship 2022.

Sunday marked the conclusion of the three-day Clash of Clans World Championship Finals 2022, with QueeN Walkers Stephanie from Japan being named the competition's the victor. The team left with the coveted trophy and $300K prize money. After finishing second in 2020 and 2021, the squad won the first position.

Eight teams competed in the competition, which took place in Helsinki, Finland, from September 23 to September 25. Four qualified for the finals via community tournaments, while the others did so through Championship Qualifiers.

Tribe Gaming, QW Stephanie, SpaceStation, and Repotted Gaming had a great start, winning their first-round matches to advance to the top bracket's second round. The other four, however, were in a lesser group. Tribe Gaming and QW Stephanie kept up their performance and made it to the Semifinal round of the top bracket, where they competed for a place in the Grand Finals. To go to the last round, the former defeated the Japanese powerhouse.

However, QW Stephanie quickly gained confidence and earned a spot in the Grand Finals after beating M S Esports in the lower bracket finals. In the tense Grand Finals, QW Stephanie decisively defeated Tribe Gaming. The squad fell to JS Tiger in the championship game the previous year, missing out on the title. Tribe Gaming finished third in the 2021 COC WC and, regrettably, was unable to repeat as champions.

QW Stephanie wins Conflict of Clans World Championship 2022

The competition, which included the top eight teams from across the globe, took place in Helsinki, Finland, from September 23 to September 25. Four teams qualified via local competitions. The other 4 groups, however, qualified via the championship qualifiers.

With a victory against GS in the first round of the match, QW Stephanie had a solid start to their season. In Round 2, they defeated Repotted Gaming, and they also won the Higher Bracket Semis. Tribe Gaming won the first meeting between these two teams in this match, advanced to the Grand Finals, and sent QW Stephanie to the lower bracket.

By beating MS Esports in the Lower Bracket finals, QW Stephanie accomplished a projected return from the lower bracket. QW Stephanie defeated Tribe Gaming in the thrilling Grand Finals to claim the title of World Champions, with Tribe Gaming finishing as the match's runner-up.

Strut Esports, the 2020 COC global champion, didn't do well this year, losing two of their three matches and placing last. Famous company SpaceStation Gaming, popularly known as SSG from North America, had an average performance and earned $60K in prizes.

Marcos Gaming from India initially qualified for Stage 4 of the COC World Championship; however, they could not take part since they could not fulfill the conditions of the competition.
