Day 1 highlights of the PUBG New State Challenger Finale
Popular team S8UL Esports dominated the competition to take the lead on Day 1 of the Challenger Finale. They took three Chicken Dinners from their four bouts, scored 70 points, and eliminated 38 opponents. GodLike also had a spellbinding performance on the first day, earning 45 points with 33 frags. Despite the team's inability to obtain a Chicken Dinner, their solid play throughout their games ensured they would finish in second place. The best player in his team was Reflexer from GodLike, who played exceptionally well.
Team XO demonstrated experience and class as well. At the end of Day 1, they were in third place. They didn't get many placement points, but the 24 kills they got allowed them to move up the rankings. In total, they scored 30 points throughout four contests. After today's PUBG New State Challenger matches are through, the top squads will strive to maintain their positions. If the squads that finished 17th through 24th wish to advance to the Grand Finale, they must better their performance.
Team XSpark, UDOG India, and Revenant Esports, three of the more well-known teams, struggled on Day 1 and will need to step up their game and join the competition with a new perspective on Day 2. Other teams, such as Gods Reign, who have been playing fairly well lately, are clinging to the qualification slots by the skin of their teeth. They also need to accomplish significant feats today to maintain their chances of competing in the PUBG New State Grand Finale.
