PUBG Mobile Global Championship prize pool announced for 2022
Tencent has announced the prize pool for PMGC 2022 and it is as insane as you would expect.
The two-month-long festival of PUBG is not more than a few days away. 51 teams from across the world will come together to fight for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship for 2022. Teams across eight regions will fight each other for the massive prize pool, unlike any PUBGM tournament before.
The tournament starts on the 10th of November and will run till the 8th of January, making an action-packed two months that is headed our way. However, all the actions will be divided into stages and the finals will not start until a month later. The developer, Tencent has announced that the tournament will boast a prize pool of $4 Million that will be divided into teams according to their standings in the tournament.

Tencent also announced that each and every team will be awarded a $10,000 minimum as a participation prize that will be chucked out of the $4 Million. All the 48 competing teams will have that at the bare minimum, $10,000 to write home about but as you go up the ladder, the significant improvement in compensation is worth fighting for.
The tournament kicks off with the group stage where the teams will be divided into 4 groups, consisting of 16 teams in each, and staying clear of the bottom 5 will ensure their progression to the later stages of the tournament. This stage alone boasts a prize pool of $463000.
