Ooredo Thunders and Twisted Minds from the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia competed well. These teams put up a valiant fight to earn fifth and sixth places on the overall leaderboards. Nigma Galaxy, the tournament favorite and a major force in the Middle East, had a terrible campaign and finished in 12th place with only 143 points after 24 matches. In 24 games, the squad won only one chicken meal since it could not develop its rhythm.
The PMPL Arabia and Africa champions, Team Falcons and One Million, did not do well throughout the competition. The teams, like Nigma Galaxy, failed miserably, failing to establish any type of momentum, and finishing in positions 11 and 13, respectively. The two teams with the lowest results in the competition were NASR Esport and Virtual Gaming Squad. Both finished with pitiful scores of 115 and 89 points to their names despite seeming lost throughout the competition.
