Aaron Keller, the game director for Overwatch 2, discussed some of the team's future intentions in a recent interview with NME. Given that they presently have the "least amount of options" among all the classes in the game, Supports will be the next two heroes to be introduced, according to Keller.

Gameplay from Overwatch 2's Support starring Ana Keller stated, " "Right now, we're primarily concentrating on the supports; the next two heroes we'll release are support heroes. They provide some new features and incredibly fascinating ways to connect with your squad to the game that we haven't seen before."

This may sound harsh to Damage, who hasn't received a new hero in Overwatch 2.
