The new international roster includes a mixture of players from India and the Philippines, including two young Filipino additions, Jm "tesseract" Ignacio and Azis "azys" Nandang, as well as seasoned local veterans like Sabyasachi "Antidote" Bose, Akram "Rawfiul" Virani, and Rishi "RvK" Vijayakumar.

Orangutan Gaming's 2022 ended without members of its Valorant lineup after a lacklustre performance in the competitive circuit. But rather than backing off, the organization has announced a new lineup and is preparing for the current season. Three Indians and two Filipinos are among the new group of players, making it an international squad that, on paper, checks off many of the necessary boxes. The first four players have essentially transferred over from Enigma Gaming, who, despite having a fantastic season and earning a spot in the VCT 2022: APAC Stage 2 Challengers, parted company with its entire Valorant squad in December of last year.

The players have already spent a lot of time playing Valorant together and have developed into a very strong team. They will be working further to hone their abilities under the auspices of Orangutan Gaming. The young Filipino star azys, who comes from the Philippines-based esports group South Built Esports, is the last piece to complete this squad. Over a year and a half, Azys participated in a competition with his previous squad. In addition to aiming to make a reputation for himself in a new area—South Asia—he will be hoping to put his abilities to use for Orangutan, get more playing experience, and develop as a player.
