k0nfig to stand in for rain in the first CS:GO tournament of the year.
The start of FaZe's 2022 saw the team pick up wins with the team grabbing the trophies at multiple points last year and even winning with a substitute. Yet again history is known for rehashing the same thing, and keeping in mind that Håvard "rain" Nygaard is taking a few days off for the birth of his child as a result the requirement for a substitute has shown up. FaZe could be looking towards Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke.
As per Dust2, the move could raise a ruckus. Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer was FaZe's first pick as a substitute, and with two days left before the tournament starts, the possible change in the player may be causing an issue.

K0nfig as of late subbed for Heroic at the Blast World Last 2022, and stood his ground, in spite of Gallant's position, and with Finn "karrigan" Andersen's set of experiences of performing notwithstanding the chances, there's a decent opportunity this team could take the trophy.
IEM Katowice 2022 saw Justin "jks" Savage wear a FaZe shirt, with the Australian filling in for two players. The final product really shocked most, with FaZe eventually winning, notwithstanding replacements left, right, and focus.
The BLAT Spring field of top teams up from across the community, all duking it out with an end goal to cement their spot in the Spring Finals later in the year. The team has failed to make it past G2 Esports and will advance into the Spring Showdown in April. While the stakes aren't at their most elevated, the effect a terrible showing can have may be the distinction in playing at future Blast competitions over time.
