Puma and global Esports organization Gen.G announced a multiyear extension to the brands' existing partnership.

Overview:

  • In October in New York City, Gen.G begins their quest for the League of Legends World Championship in 2022.
  • Gen.G League of Legends beat its illustrious foe, T1, and went on to the 2022 Worlds.
  • The LEC Summer Grand Finals and LCS Summer Grand Finals audiences for the title match almost doubled and tripled, respectively.

Global Esports organisation Gen.G and global sports giant PUMA announced a multiyear extension to their current cooperation. The League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) 2022 Summer Champion squad and other Gen.G creators and players will wear pieces from a second global lifestyle collection that PUMA and Gen.G will debut on September 20.

Since its inception, the collaboration has concentrated on bringing gaming and Esports culture into popular culture. The relationship's future will continue to develop those components via innovative merchandising partnerships, cutting-edge player kits and limited edition uniforms, and community activations benefiting all gamers.

In October in New York City, Gen.G begins their quest for the League of Legends World Championship in 2022. The two companies will launch a flurry of fan and creator events in honour of this collaboration extension, beginning with an event at the PUMA New York flagship store.

Gen.G League of Legends beat its illustrious foe, T1, and went on to the 2022 Worlds. The Grand Final match had the most significant worldwide viewership in LCK Regional Finals history with 1.3M+ peak concurrent viewers. The LEC Summer Grand Finals and LCS Summer Grand Finals audiences for the title match almost doubled and tripled, respectively. Beginning on September 25, 2022, a winner will be announced on November 5.
