Females ‘just getting started in Esports, says Saudi federation official

Female participation in esports is only set to increase in the coming years, Reaam Alkhudairi, from the Saudi Esports Federation, has said.

Female engagement in Esports is expected to rise in the next years, according to Reaam Alkhudairi of the Saudi Esports Federation. In 2020, around six million individuals played games in Saudi Arabia alone, with women accounting for roughly half of all new gamers.

According to her, Saudi Arabia's gaming business, particularly its Esports scene, is growing, with more chances for women to emerge. Esports are an interesting and demanding activity, and the Saudi Esports Federation is committed to promoting and supporting both adolescents and adults to participate, according to Alkhudairi.
