Match format and stages

The BLAST.tv CS: GO Paris Major 2023 will feature three rounds of competition between the 24 participating teams. The Challengers stage, the opening round of the competition, will begin on May 8 and end on May 11. All other games in this phase will be best-of-one, with the advancement and elimination matches having a best-of-three format. The remaining teams will be disqualified from the competition, while the top eight teams with the most points at the end of the Challengers Stage advance to the Legends stage.

It is planned for the Legends stage to begin on May 13 and end on May 16, 2023. The format will be a Swiss match with 16 teams competing against one another under the same regulations as The Challengers games. Eight remaining teams will be eliminated, while the top eight will advance to the Champions stage. All matches in the final round will be best-of-three, single-elimination bracket style. Beginning on May 18 and ending on May 21, 2023, the Champions phase will take place.
