India has been getting into the Esports scenario quite recently. However, with the introduction of BGMI in India, it seems that India is all set to enter into the professional world of Esports, with BGMI once again. In today’s blog, we will be getting all the details about the ongoing BGMI Pro series, that you need to know and catch up with before you start to watch the series. If you have not yet watched the series, you need to start watching it. The series is going extremely well and smoothly, though there have been certain allegations that some teams might be cheating. However, Krafton has assured us that no such thing is taking place, and they are taking full care of it.
BGMI Pro Series Schdule
Let us have a look into the BGMI Pro Series schedule. When are all the matches going to be held? When will we get to see the finale? So the Pro series is divided into three parts:
- Week 1: May 19 to May 22
- Week 2: May 26 to May 29
- Week 3: June 2 to June 5
These three weeks will be known as the League stage, where 24 teams overall will be going against each other and some of them will be qualifying for the Finals. That means, only 16 teams will be going to the Final Stage. This stage will be held from June 9 to June 12, where each day there are going to be 6 matches. In the end, the team with the highest points will be declared the winner of the series.

BGMI Pro Series Week 2 Standings
Now that we have come to the end of Week 2, let us get into how the teams have performed and what the overall standing of all the teams is.
Week 2 Day 1 (26th May)
After the 1st Week of the series, Team Soul was on top of the list. However, as the second week started, things started to change a lot.
The first match started off with Nigma Galaxy and was followed by Team XO. It was quite surprising to see these teams kicking off the second week. In the latter part of the day, Team Soul, Team Hydra, and Team XO managed to get victories once again. As a result, the final standings were as follows:
Week 2 Day 2 (27th May)
The next day was also an interesting one. The first win came from Team XO, and then came OR Esports. Of course, the matchday would be incomplete without another win from Team XO on the new map Vikendi. However, the later-day matches were far more interesting, with a good start from UP50 Esports, and then Global Esports proceeded to have a good win for themselves. In the end, the Oresports took home a point.
Week 2 Day 3 (28th May)
On the third day of the match, Hydra Official took the first win of the day, and then even NGXwixxky managed to get a win for themselves. Of course, the next win was from Hyderabad Hydras, and then Initiative Academy came in the next position. Even though we saw Team Retribution RTR was seen as winning some points. The final win was again taken by Team XO.
Week 2 Day 4 (29th May)
The final day of Week 2 was, of course, something that everyone looked forward to, and would have a huge impact on what was going to come up in the final week of the series. The first match was won by R Esports and then Team Soul. Another win was taken by Esportswala x WSF and then Team XO, of course. It seems that Team XO is going to dominate this year’s League easily. In the latter part of the matches, OR esports, Marcos Gaming, and Team INS also got their own share of victories.
Let us hope that Week 3 of the BGMI Pro Series manages to be as eventful as the others. This week was indeed a stepping stone for the teams to increase their points and ultimately qualify for the finals.
